In the year 704 St. Giles warned the shepherds of the Núria Valley with the bell to offer them food and the word of God.

In 1162 Pope Alexander III authorized the foundation of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Núria.

After more than 100 years, 1270 marks the beginning of the “domus hospitalis”, guest house, where the parish priest of Núria gave shelter to the pilgrims who visited the Sanctuary…

Hotel Vall de Nuria was inaugurated as a hotel establishment in 1931, marking the beginning of an iconic destination in the Pyrenees.
The construction and inauguration of the Rack Railway, also in 1931, marks a vital milestone for the Hotel and the Valley, providing sustainable and affordable access for all.

Today, managed by Aramak, Hotel Vall de Núria is the only family resort in the Catalan Pyrenees, with a PURPOSE:
